Oooh, baby, do you know what that’s worth?
One of my very favoritest paintings I’ve done lately. Print available in my new shop, 10% of all sales donated to LGBT Community Center of NYC!

This young girl uses “los,” “las” and the gender-neutral “les” — watch her explain why. —from REMEZCLA on twitter.
to all the cowards who whine “how will i explain it to my kids??” i say: how about you shut up and let your kids explain it to you.
“Ma’am, you don’t have to be a lawyer to defend someone else” wow she snapped

I recently finished reading the book, The Handmaids Tale and I’m a huge fan of the tv show, so I couldn’t help but somehow find time in between work to paint this piece.
This was quite relaxing to paint. Yet, every time I get reminded of the idea of Gilead, I shudder a little. “Nolite te bastardes carborundorum!”

Anonymous asked: Are you or have you gone to school for art? If so what exactly? Is the job market good where you're from?
Hello, I’m from Chile, I do not study art, but I’ve drawn all my life, in fact I’m a Graphic Designer, which helped me to complement the drawing with the computer and create my own style, I do not live from my drawings but yes, it gives me a little money … which in fact I only use it to buy more materials to continue drawing ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Big mood
I slept in and laughed way too much at this

Marielle Franco, a councillor who dedicated her life to fight against institutional racism and police brutality, was shot dead in targeted killing in Rio de Janeiro today.
Franco was a black woman who defied the odds of Rio politics to win the fifth highest vote count among council members when she was elected in 2016. She was an expert on police violence, and on Saturday accused officers of being overly aggressive in searching residents of gang-controlled shantytowns. Being killed only a few days later, there are clear signs that this might have been the motivation for her execution.
It really makes you feel hopeless, to see how little the lives of black women matter in Brazil. Marielle, you shall never be forgotten! We bleed for you!
